I read book 2 first and liked it so much I got this book. What I like about this author and her books is she makes the women strong-willed and skilled. Her stories seem to have a twist that keeps it interesting. In this book, the woman goes back in time. The story is well written and is laced with a few surprises that keeps the reader interested. It's not a regular man meets woman, man saves woman, and they live ever happily ever after.I just admit the part about shopkeeper, at the end of the story, was pretty darn good.
The story line is an easy one to fall in love with! Is it not any history buff's fantasy to time travel and fall in love? Super entertaining, very hard to put down.. It's a quick read and sets you up very nicely for the rest of the books.. Of course, I read this one last which was pretty cool because I already had an understanding of what was going on. I think I'll read the entire series again. It's that good.

This whole series is excellent! The charactersmake you feel you are in their story andeach hero is amazing. It is not Outlander, butone to enjoy
I really enjoyed this story, I wished it was longer. It is one of the better time travel books I have read in a long time.
