I met Ed Barker on one of the Facebook groups relating to two pulmonary emboli . The book was free for me . The chapters on nutritional alternatives are very interesting to me . I don't go much for some of the other stuff he wrote . My DVT was caused by enlarged red blood cells due to low folate and B12 levels it would've been nice to see him say something about the nutritional causes of DVTs.
This author suffered from a DVT and was treated with warfarin /Coumadin. While under treatment, he came to realize the side effects of his drug therapy and took himself off the drug, replacing it with a more natural series of treatments. He outlines the pros and cons of both treatments, and provides careful, documented information about the various alternatives. A well written and helpful book and highly recommended. Even if DVT is not an issue for you, this book is good because the author outlines how to prevent it with practical, easily accomplished means.
I truly enjoyed every page of this short book. It doesn't bore you with needless information but does give you complete information on the subject of the book with some extra important information concerning other health issues. This is exactly how books should be writtened.
This is the shortest book in history. It's about blood thinners. I could have got this info on the internet
This book is amazing for those of us who don't want to take pharmaceutical drugs. I love natural blood thinning, and have learned so much from this book.
