The book has enough summary for each section involving in the FE Environmental exam, including some example supporting the concepts. At the end of each section there are some practice problem with solution. For some sections the number of practice problem and examples would be better if it was more, however the references at the end of each chapter can guide you for the original source if you need to study deeper.I bought the book a month before my test, read all the chapters and solve the problems and had no problem in the FE exam afterward. And I think it is a good source for FE environmental exam and worth it to read.
Bought this to study for the FE, Environmental Exam. Good review textbook: the concise topic summaries and practice problems really help you prepare for the exam. The exam problems are easier than those in the book. However, BEWARE. There are MANY errors in the example problems and the solutions. The errata is more prevalent in the latter sections than the earlier sections, and unfortunately that's where most of the environmental-focused chapters are located. Definitely pair this review manual with actual FE Environmental practice tests to get an accurate gauge of your success ratio.
The book covers all the topics on the exam. They skip way too many steps in the example problems though, if you don't know a topic you'll probably need more than this book.
100% recommended. It covers all of the topics for the Environmental FE Exam (in the state of Washington anyway), you wouldn't need any other textbook as this book goes through all of the topics with practice problems and solutions to each practice problem on separate pages.
Great review book. I passed the FE after using the book. I found that the example problems in the book were harder than the questions on the actual test.
Has typos and errors...could have benefited from better editorial staff.....
