Reading this book opened up whole new horizons for me both as a healer and a sincere seeker on the spiritual path. Dr. Edward Bach was an amazing man who has left us a priceless legacy. He explains that the healing of the mind and the emotions through the use of flower essences and a deeper connection to our Inner Guidance will also bring about healing on the physical level. Even though this book is only the tip of the iceberg in the study of flower remedy therapy, I highly recommend it as a foundation. I am now doing an in depth study of the books written by his student Mechthilde Scheffer ("Keys to the Soul", "Bach Flower Therapy", and "Bach Flowers for Crisis Care") who has taken Dr.Bach's teachings to a much more profound level.

This has helped me and my family a lot. These remedies are truly effective, and have changed my life for the better. This book educates us in how to heal from within. If you are cynical like I was, give it a go and see for yourself.

I am new to using Bach Remedies but have found them completely fascinating since I started reading and researching them. I literally spent hours online researching them before finally deciding to purchase this book. This book covers pretty much everything, way more than I found while researching online. I had purchased a bunch of remedies prior to getting this book and was so happy to see I had ordered the correct remedies. This book is a great resource to have if you plan on buying Bach flower remedies. I am happy to have it in my Library as a reference. I was weary about getting the Kindle version, but I have no complaints on this format.

When I bought this book I was only looking for founding father Dr. Bach's works, so the third section written by E.J. Wheeler seemed superfluous to me. It seemed like yet another reference section like any other. I was wrong!Since then I have discovered how very useful that section really is, particularly for self-diagnosis. As a professional practitioner, I almost always have an easier time diagnosing others because, of course, it is easier to see patterns when one is looking at them from the outside. The reference and cross-reference section written by E.J. Wheeler is based on "moods", with a short descriptive phrase attached to each flower possibly related to that mood. It is written by a person with a strong grasp of language, so this section is at once concise and rich. It gives new and deeper insights to the subtle textures and possible applications of each flower, and vice-versa, of possible flowers for a rich variety of "moods".I strongly recommend this book for two reasons. It includes the essential works of Dr. Bach which should be read by anyone interested flower essences, and it continues to be very helpful for self-diagnosis and deeper understanding. I would not recommend it as the only book to own or to study from, but rather as an essential part of your reference section. To me this book has the works that a beginner needs to read, and then references to the deeper textures that an advanced practitioner or user can understand. It is not a user guide. For intermediate studies I would suggest searching for a user guide containing photos, multiple-page descriptions for each flower, and instructions for applications and preparation.Best of luck! I did like this book and for someone who is interested in the Bach remedies , this is a good book to read and reference. But I would definitely use this book in conjunction with other books. But this is a good foundation book for the Bach flowers.

Love it. Makes choosing remedies much easier. I also appreciate the history behind this complementary healing method.

Gordon has meticulously researched Cleveland Browns history and developed a book of questions, answers and anecdotes that will appeal to anyone who likes the NFL's Browns. Although the questions in the book start simple and straightforward and progressively become more difficult, the author's style is light and fun throughout, and when he answers the questions he adds interesting trivia that might make you feel as though you attended the game in the question. Gordon is like that Browns fan who sat next to you in class who would scrutinize every play from every game, and pepper you with great questions about how you enjoyed the game and what you were thinking about when the Browns came oh-so-close but fell short in the end. This book is sure to recall great memories and provide fun for every Browns fan in your family!

This book gives hope to the hopeless. From an LDS perspective, it boldly speaks of the reality and power of Satan and his minions. But as powerful as he is it testifies of Jesus and how He is infinitely more powerful, and how, by putting on the armor of God and trusting in His power we can overcome temptation and sin, especially sexual sin. Highly recommended.

One of the best books ever written by one of those individuals who has been down in the trenches. Steven Cramer does an excellent job of relating gospel principals to his own personal life and lets those who are also in the trenches know that by applying the principals in his book that they can get out as well. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling with their testimony and feels that the forces of evil are beginning to over power them. Theodore Sumrall

This is very well written book - a tribute to English literacy! I found ONE minor typo in the whole book! The treatment is exceptionally thorough. It is very well illustrated. As for the subject matter, I was very impressed by the potential for Hemp-crete. It has the unique property of being both a very high insulator AND having high thermal mass. It overcomes the undoubtedly very high level of chemical poisoning which Western attempts at building have subjected us to. It is also relatively easy to work with, and,as they say. 'carbon negative'. Particularly in extreme climates it will prove to be a wonderful alternative. It is a marriage between Western science and the older tradition that seeks to derive building materials from natural sources (both grow-able and bio-degradable). Furthermore, I suspect that it has the flexibility to be an ideal building tool in earthquake country. It DOES require framing, and it is NOT a total substitute for concrete (in for example foundations), but the qualities I have already described more than compensate.The only problem... where does one get Hempcrete supplies in the US? I would love to try it, but don't fancy having to drive to Canada for my needs.Anyone interested in forming a would be users' group?As a final word of advice to the authors - you write and organize information very well. CUT OUT the repetition! The book could loose a third and not suffer. But nevertheless, it is a first rate guide to anyone wishing to use hempcrete

It details how Jade's story of survival in Yellowstone touches a wide swath of people, from her loving owners to the thousands of strangers who followed the search on social media. It's part family drama, part history, part science journal. This is a dog book, for sure, one that dog lovers will love. But the more important word in the title is "Home." Two dogs and two people in a car on vacation. What could be more peaceful and relaxing than that? Until a pickup truck drifts into your lane at 45 miles and hour and hits you head on! On a highway in Yellowstone National Park, with medical care a long distance and time away, the badly hurt driver had to be airlifted out, and the passenger taken by ambulance. Their two dogs survived the accident, and a Park Ranger volunteered to take the dogs and hold them until the injured folks could get them. Unfortunately, the crash had splintered one of the crates, and the second the door was opened by the ranger, one of the dogs bolted out of the SUV and took off into the deep woods. I love dogs and I love Yellowstone, so the book, Bring Jade Home, was a must-read. The true story is full of adventure, sorrow, and thankfully happiness. The blue-eyed Jade survived more than 40 days in the Yellowstone wilderness which set a new record for our four-legged friends. The journey of dog and family will put tears in your eyes and a smile on your face. Can’t wait for the movie.

If you followed the media coverage of Jade, an Australian Shepherd, lost in Yellowstone Park for more than 40 days, you may think you know this story. But this beautifully written book brings home what it would be like to agonize about the fate of a very young dog suddenly having to survive among the wolves and Grizzlies in the Park. Laura Gillice and David Sowers, although injured themselves in the auto accident that caused the frightened Jade to escape, do everything they can think of to lure Jade out of the woods, even when they aren't sure she still survives. I work in the park, but was on vacation when Jade went missing. When I returned, and was told about her, I was so sure she did not survive. But then friends told me she had been seen! Of course, I had to join in the search, and was thrilled with the outcome. The story is a happy one, and is beautifully told in "Bring Jade Home." The loving bond between master and dog is a strong one indeed. The determination and persistence of Jade's owners was incredible, as was Jade's decision to finally come out of hiding. Very well written. I highly recommend this book to anyone age 10 - 100!

Great story! I live and work at Yellowstone and watched this story play out in person. Amazing how people jumped in to try and save this dog. Even though I was here and helping as I could, I enjoyed reading the story of every thing that was going on behind the scene. Movie material here!!

If you love animals, especially dogs, this is a must read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As a dog owner, I can only imagine what an emotional roller coaster this was like for Jade's family. Definitely shows the power of people coming together to help others. Just beautiful!
