As a Latin American Studies major who has lived and worked in Latin America, I was very familiar with the historical and culture practices that influence the professional world in Latin America, but I never understood how these influences affect the intricacies of business practice; setting up deals, negotiations, relationship building, assessing and understanding the foreign management structure. The number one positive of this book was the chapter about negotiation tips in Latin America; this part would be interesting and useful for a CEO getting ready for a big deal in Mexico City, or just anyone interested in Latin America. The only negative of the book was the repetitiveness of certain reoccurring themes (time differences, formality differences, relationship building etc. ).

The book and its examples provide a very good strating resource to organise the entry into the region of a company that has not done business in Latin America before!

I don't work in a Public Library but I'm a frequent visitor. I'm both amused and astonished at the things visitors have said to librarians but notsurprised. The same can be said for book stores and you'll never find anyone more helpful that a library or book store. I'd love to see another volume of comments made in a library; I'm sure there are many more stories.

Typos, too basic for my taste and I personally wouldn't really buy it reading what I've read now. It's only 23 small pages which I was surprised, but what really disappointed me was the typos and lack of diversity in grammar and word usage. It's literally about as basic as you could get, possibly for a middle school level learning. I would have preferred a bit more for this book for the price paid for it... or around $4-$5 total. This 'book' has good intentions, but could honestly fit on a few pages if it weren't in huge font with huge margins and spaces in between paragraphs. Littered with spelling and grammatical errors. The author only provides quotes and references from himself. Unless you're an utter novice to the idea of believing in yourself and acting upon those beliefs, skip it.

Great introduction into the philosophy of the Luciferian Order.Highly recommended for anyone who is ready to pull back the curtain of fear and seek the light.However, a few typos caused me to give it 4 instead of 5 stars.

For those who are open to the message this is a fantastic book. An exposition on the process and experience of Self realization.

Makes me understand a higher self is and can be attained. But the writer never revealed the formula for its attainment. The book has been well written.

This is one of those books that when you pick it up you can't put it down. It is very informative and to the point. Which made it easy for me to focus. I think this would be helpful for Luciferians and non Luciferians alike.

This is a terrific mystery and a very believable protagonist. This is for fans of Girl on a Train (altho much better) and Gone Girl. I thought I'd figured it all out but twists right up to the end

This kept me guessing right til the end. I had a hard time putting it down. Just when you think you know how it goes down something will make you question it. Definitely worth reading

I absolutely loved this book. There are a few grammatical errors along the way but overall a very fast read. I loved the characters and ended finishing this book in two days starting up late to do so. I love books that jump back and forth through time and this was a very easy book to follow as it did so.

Tell the Truth by Amanda Brittany is a thriller that deals in digging deep into the past to uncover secrets buried long ago. This means the format is one in which you have a current timeline and flashes back into the past to follow along together until they finally intertwine.The story centers around Rachel who is a psychotherapist who has her own issues in her life going on. Her husband has left her for another woman leaving her to raise her daughter now as a single mother and Rachel’s own mother is suffering from dementia and barely recognizes her.When Rachel makes an appearance on a local talk show a strange call comes through but as she tries to put that incident out of her mind Rachel then begins receiving friend requests on Facebook with ominous messages. Rachel knows the only way to figure this out is to dig deep into the past that her mother has refused to talk about and find out just what happened when Rachel was a child.I will admit that yet again we have an author who has come up with a great story but it took a while for me to settle into the book. The beginning of Tell the Truth jumps around times quite a bit and that held me back from becoming immediately immersed but as the book goes on it becomes much easier to follow and distinguish the characters from each era. I had my guesses going on as to how it would all turn out and while I was getting close the wrap up did elude me from completely figuring it all out which is always fun too.I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

The story starts out with a confession from an unidentified murderer, and then moves to Rachel being interviewed on live TV and a chilling call she receives on-air. We then meet her mum in flashbacks to 1987 and onward and discover more about Rachel, her mom and a bit of their background.Her mum, Laura is now in a care home for acute Alzheimer's and during one visit announces she needs to tell Rachel about things that happened in the past.This comment from her mum, combined with the strange phone call and then numerous Facebook friend requests from the murder victims the murderer confesses to in confessions between the story begin to weigh heavily on her. Added to that she is dealing with a break-up; being a single mom; dealing with her own sick mom - all these things leave her struggling to make sense of her life.All these strange requests plus baffling occurrences leave Rachel determined to discover what her mom is hiding - which in itself is an uphill task due to the extreme dementia.The flashbacks to 1987 onward with Laura plus the confessions from the unknown murderer gives the reader a bit of an inside track of events and allows you to develop your own theories with all the knowledge Rachel doesn't get.I moved through a couple of theories during the flow of this novel and even at about 65% of the way in, I wasn't sure which one was true and it turned out at the end most were way wrong!The book started off so slowly that I wondered what all the various narratives were about and how they would tie together and then they grabbed me! So then I had to sacrifice some sleep to see where they went.This was a brilliant read based upon what children remember from very young ages - what is real and actually remembered and what is made up or tweaked by what we were told by our parents and other important people in our lives.

Pretty good, but weird too. There is a creepy vibe throughout the entire story, lots of suspense. This story has a lot going on, so many twists. I read a review that said around the 80% completion the book has a reveal that should have ended the story and I somewhat agree. What came after that was shocking but so over the top that I think it took away from the story rather than add to it.Thanks to NetGalley, the author and HQ Digital for a copy in exchange for a review.

"Cafe Racer" is Mike Seate's best book to date. Instead of just random photos of choppers with no real link ( "Outlaw Choppers" ) this book is thoroughly researched, well written and cohesive. It will certainly be considered THE historical written document of the cafe racer phenomena. He smartly includes all types of bikes that are part of the history of the cafe racer and bikes that are part of the current scene. For instance, here in Detroit, the brand new Cafe Racer Ypsilanti is using many different mills to build some interesting caffs. Seate includes the Honda 750cc example as a bike being used for modern cafe racers, not limiting to only English bikes.The layout is superb. The photos are great. Seate has really grown with this publication ( I purchased his early work "Two Wheels on Two Reels" and was sorely dissapointed and wrote a negative review )and every serious motorbike enthusiast should include this book in their collection. Well done.

Mike does a very good job pulling together historical information for this book, and adds a personal touch talking about his own café aspirations. I'm a café racer nut, so I eat up all the information I can get about this brief era in motorcycling that has now become quite popular here of late. I recommend this book for the library of anyone interested in the Rockers' café racer history.

Photos and narrative are super historical record. Should be required reading for anyone riding or building cafe racer motorcycles--a good read.

The book was well written. I happen to like Mike's writing style so therefore enjoyed this book. Great period photos and good ideas for modern Cafes. Clearly a good text for someone who wishes to learn about these great machines and the people that have an affinity for them.

The "Japanese Motorcycle Wars" is a must read for the serious historian. Most motorcycle enthusiasts, however, would not wade through the details.

It's good to see more new material for this old subjet. I've enjoyed reading it and will recomended to my friends.

Rey has done a great service by redrawing the constellations (using the same stars) so that they *actually* look like the figure they represent. This is in contrast to so many other constellation drawings (by others) that bear no resemblance at all to the figure they supposedly represent. They come in two varieties: either they are lifelike representations with no correlation at all between the figure and the individual stars or they are stick figures that look more like abstract art!(2) Rather than deluging you with lots of irrelevant facts, H.A. Rey has chosen some very pertinent, interesting facts and anecdotes to share about the stars and the constellations. These are the kind of facts that are fun to share with others when you introduce them to the constellations!(3) H.A. Rey has very wisely left the more detailed and technical explanations for discussion later in the book. He starts off by telling you just the basics that you need to start stargazing right away!(4) On the Calendar Chart pages you will see two star charts on facing pages. On the left you'll see just the stars and on the right you'll see the stars with the connecting lines to show the constellations. Going back and forth between the pages is a great way to start to memorize the celestial patterns so that when you get outside it will be easier to pick them out!

In 1954, my Dad bought me this book and my first pair of binoculars. I was 8 years old and still have it with me. I read every page and spent many hours on top of our house in Denver winter and summer to develop my interest in Astronomy. Everyone thought I was crazy including my Dad and brothers. I got my first of several telescopes 2 years later and started to take my first crude pictures. I joined the Denver Astronomical Society and learned how to grind reflecting telescope mirrors. I was the first to earn the Astronomy merit badge in scouts in Denver in over 20 years. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Astronomy in 1968. The war took me in another direction with an IT career for the next 40 years, but my love was always with the stars and Astronomy thanks to this H. A. Rey book in the 50s. I have traveled many miles to witness many astronomical events including 2 total solar eclipses in Yakima, Washington in 1979 and last year's 2017 event in Baker City, Oregon with my special cameras. I have hosted star gazing parties for kids and adults and I always recommend this book. I now have a chance to use it all over again with my wife, family, and friends on super clear nights from our mountain cabin as an old retired guy on our deck. No more rooftops! Just downloaded this digital version to my HD 10. Just as good as my older first paper edition. My only wish was that they had retained the 4 quadrant charts for each of the 12 month/time table charts for separate views looking due north, south, east, and west instead of the singular circular charts which don't work too well on Kindles with auto-rotate. Oh well, at least now I don't need a flashlight to read charts while observing. If you only only have a slight interest in the stars or Astronomy, get this book for $10. You never know, or maybe give it to a crazy kid, son, or daughter who likes watching the stars and all of nature's amazing events not on flat screens. Have fun!

Best beginner ( i.e. non-astronomer) star chart book out there. I've had 3 copies of this book since the 1980's ( the bindings do not hold up to the intended purpose) , and will buy another when this one finishes falling apart. This is the book to have with you when you and your child / grandchild learn the nighttime sky together. I went to Grand Canyon National Park a few years back to see a spectacular Leonid meteor shower and was pleased to see that this is the star guidebook that the park sold. One rub on this book, besides the binding, is finding the most recent edition because the planetary tables make each edition "dated", but Sky and Telescope and other internet sources now offer up to date planetary tables. H. A. Rey had the ability to make complex subjects of astronomy understandable to the non-scientist. I've owned this book for over 30 years and I am still enjoying it.
